How we expect candidates and employers to treat each other. Last updated 13 July 2026.
Represent your skills, experience, and hiring authority accurately. Job postings should reflect a real, currently-open role with accurate compensation and requirements.
Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or abusive language toward another user is never acceptable, in messages, interviews, or feedback. Feedback on a candidate or a company should be specific and professional, not personal.
Necessary requirements, job postings, and hiring decisions must comply with the Equality Act 2010 and other applicable anti-discrimination law. Never screen candidates based on protected characteristics unrelated to the role.
Show up to interviews you accept, or reschedule with notice. Submit interview feedback within the deadline. Ghosting the other side after real interest has been expressed undermines the trust the whole platform depends on.
Don't use the platform to mass-message users outside of genuine hiring interest, or to collect data for purposes unrelated to your own hiring or job search.
If another user violates these guidelines, contact us from the Help & Support page. Violations can result in a warning, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform. See our User Policy.
